Has anyone seen this at DTD lately? My DD has her heart on buying this with her own money. How much is it?

We were just there in June and my DD bought it with her money too!! It was $69...and I think it was well worth the money!!! It comes with all of the princesses and their princes. Also has a few accessories that goes with each princess...has lights that light up the castle and in some of the windows when the lights are lit up, if you open the windows, it looks like the fireworks, they are lit up with lights. Sorry for rambling!!

Where in DTD is this?? My DD7 would love it!

World of Disney!! But I also saw it at a few other stores in the parks and we had it in our gift shop in Pop Century!

Thanks, Lesley! I just know she'll have to have one!

My DD loves hers!! We went in June for her 6th birthday and everyone gave her money for her birthday to bring with her, so of course she wanted to buy it with her own money. I told DH, it was nice her having her own money to buy what she wanted with, but I was a little sad b/c I really wanted to buy her that from us for her birthday. But she felt like such a big girl paying with her own money, I couldn't disappoint her!! Silly isn't it!!!

And have a great trip!! I see you leave in 3 days, how exciting!!!

Awwww! What a big, grown-up girl!!

We got one last year in Sept. It was $69. Well worth the price!!! We had it shipped home for $15... again worth it! DD5 wanted one so bad... we had heard on these boards that they were limited and back ordered. DD5 was worried that she may not get one for christmas. BUT, of course Santa came through! ;) The play set is complete with so many things. Truthfully the castle is set up in the living room on a table and it looks so nice we let her keep it there!

We bought ours from the POR giftshop.. but we did see it at quite a few places., Have fun!

My dd4 has had hers for amost 2 years now and she loves it! Well worth every penny. I think we paid $65, but noticed the price went up to $69 on our last trip.

Tip: The pvc princess sets at Disney store work well with the castle. Sleepy Beauty from the castle lost her head, so we purchased the Sleepy Beauty doll set that comes with pricne and all the characters. She now has the cinderella set, belle set and a few others.

What age group is this for? My DD is 15 months and will be 20 months around Christmas. Is this too "big" for her? She loves playing with these kind of things

Thanks for the tip! :thumbsup2 (Poor Sleeping Beauty...)

We just got back from a trip to NYC and the World Of Disney store on 5th Ave had these sets for the same price, in stock and they ship. Maybe that will help someone who's not planning a trip before Christmas...

I don't suppose this will show up on the Disney shopping site once the take over is complete? MY dd would LOVE this and I would be thrilled to have santa leave it under the tree.

There's a number for Disney merchandise that you can call and order pretty much anything that is sold at WDW. I don't know the number off-hand, but maybe someone who does will post it. I know I've seen it posted a number of times here and on the Disney Mom's Panel site. I'll try to find it for you.

Glad to hear that the shipping isn't too high. We're thinking of getting this on our next trip for the girls to share at Christmas. :thumbsup2

WDW Merchandising: 407-363-6200. They can ship almost anything sold at the parks and resorts (excluding food).

I don't think its for a child that young. Lots of very small pieces. Unless you just wanted to let her use the castle for now and save some of the accessories. Or if she has stopped putting everything in her mouth, but even then I would watch really closely. DD has pretty easily removed some of the princesses arms while dressing them too.
