I would love to hear from those who have purchased this. Over the years we have collected the monorail playsets and some of the hotels/Epcot. We bought them when my boys were 10-12 or so and now we use them to go around our Christmas tree.

I'm considering the castle set for my daughter's Christmas gift. She will turn 4 the week after Christmas. I wonder if it would be good for her. Are they well made?

We bought one for DD3 in March. It's not terribly well made, but it's good enough for us. She LOVES her castles (we also got her Aurora's castle--I'm a sucker), and literally plays with them all the time!

Cindy's is a nice size, with a bunch of characters, and lights and everything. And it makes sounds, too.

I think it's a great gift.

Thanks! I was actually thinking of getting the Aurora one too since it is available on Disney Shopping now. I think these two things would make an awesome Christmas.

My daughter received hers a few years ago and played with it quite a bit. We like to buy the different character playsets to go with it. I usually buy them at the Disney store when they're on sale. They aren't really scaled right for the castle, but who cares! It allows us (umm...I mean, her;)) to have the villains, dwarfs, & more.

We have the castle, monorail, and epcot. My kids love them all. One of my boys broke a piece to the castle (a chair or something that went inside of it) but they break everything!!!! LOL. My daughter has never had any problems with it. She doesn't play with it as often as we had expected. It is decent quality though... I wouldn't let anyone under 3 play with it though. My kids under 3 would break it in a heartbeat by trying to stand on it or something LOL

We just gave this castle playset to our twins for their 5th birthday. It is so cute! It's about as well made as most comparable toys, and it is small, especially the figurines...so hopefully your DD is well past the point of putting things in her mouth! We did buy some extra sets - the Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty sets. I'm very pleased with it, and I would purchase it again. The kids have not stopped playing with it all week!

My daughter doesn't put things in her mouth but the dogs do so I will have to watch that.

Thanks for the reviews everyone!

We bought it for DD 2 years ago and she loves it. She continues to play w/it. Hasn't broke anything yet. (but then she is very particular about her playthings. I think it is pretty well made. DD liked all the figures, etc that came with it. The castle is always a hit when her friend come over. Had a sleep over last night and they played with that for hours.

DD got the Castle set for 3rd birthday. Most of the things with thin parts have broken. Somehow Cinderella broke in half too :confused3 I don't think the pieces are well made, but she loves the castle and plays with her other princess dolls with it.

Aurora's castle is really neat, but a little smaller and strangely not as well made. There are 2 interior doors that break off super-easily, and the flag on top look cool, but they come off and break rather easily, in our experience.
