I think you mis-read the article. It states:

"With the Let the Magic Begin Welcome Show at Magic Kingdom, Main Street, U.S.A. is open to all Guests (regardless of staying at a Disney Property or not) roughly 25-45 minutes before official Theme Park opening."

Even this isn't entirely true - they let all guests in about an hour before opening, so 8 am on a 9 am opening day.

Since you won't be able to ride it prior to your CRT reservation, I would recommend trying to get a FP+. You will have better luck getting a 4th, 5th, 6th FP+ for just about every other ride in WDW besides 7DMT.

Thank you! We will try to get a fast pass. And if we get to the ride before the breakfast somehow - I will drop my and my mom's fast passes so other people could use them.

I like rides, but one time for a certain ride is enough for me for a day. Otherwise it doesn't feel that "magical" to me anymore ))
