Cinco De Mayo

Hey Everyone. Im doing a research report on the mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo. My teacher wants me to write a journal in the place of someone celebrating this holiday and what their daily activities are. Such as, dancing, eating good mexican food, singing ect. Im having a lot of trouble finding information. Does anyone here celebrate this holiday? And can anyone help me with my journal?

While we avoid San Antonio because of the traffic on Cinco de Mayo, the city takes on a Fiesta atmosphere. There is a huge party downtown at El Mercado (the old historic Market Square). There are food vendors, 3 stages with live entertainment, including mariachi,Tejano, and conjunto. There are street dances and performances by Ballet Folklorico. Artisans of all kinds demonstrate their talents.
