cigarettes and plane questions

Cigarettes are a lot cheaper in florida than where I live in Connecticut. Does anyone know if there is a limit of how many cartons I can buy and bring back in my carry on luggage. I was thinking of putting in my checked in luggage but am afraid it will be missing from luggage.

No limit to smokes. Take all you want or need.

The only limit you might have is if you're going international. Then there's a limit of a certain amout that would be duty (tax) free, and would have duty applied to the rest. Domestically, there's no limit at all.
