I was wondering if anyone else here had requested something non-alcoholic with the REAS package, like maybe sparking cider. The DH and I do drink occasionally, but we do not like champagne or wine, so I was wondering if it would be worth it to try and request something else. TIA! :confused3

You should be able to...I got the cider...yummy! on my trip in May but forgot to order it for my December trip REAS and got the champagne by default...I found a good home for it, though...Just ask your TA, or whomever is handling your REAS package to specify the cider...You'll love it...!

Hello, could you please explain REAS? What does it include and what is the cost. Thanks in advance.

The REAS is the Romantic Escape at Sea. I don't remember the exact cost, but I belive that it's around $300. What it includes is this:
A couple's massage
Dinner at Palo (with reservations made in advance so you don't have to wait in line to do it onboard)
Romantic turndown service (Happens the night of Palo)
Champagne breakfast delivered to your stateroom
Couple's romance basket in your stateroom upon arrival

Even if you request cider and they give you champagne, talk to guest services, they can exchange it for you. I ordered a romance basket for our last cruise and asked for Asti instead, but we got champange. I asked guest services if we they could trade it out and before we knew it a bottle of Asti was chilling in our stateroom and the champange had dissapeared.

what other type of options are there instead of champagne or cider? DH doesn't drink at all and I would prefer to get something we can both enjoy (neither of us would drink the cider) Perhaps some soda or bottled water? ( I know ~ not very romantic, but I would like to order the REAS, but feel the basket would be a waste if we can't even enjoy all that's in it :love2: )

What about some sparking grape juice? That's really what I meant to put instead of cider. I don't even drink cider. And...if you get the white grape juice it will look just like champagne in your glass...LOL!! :flower:
