CI&S Maingate

Anybody stayed at CI&S Maingate lately? There is a thread but not much recent activity. We are booked for Aug/Sept and the reviews on the internet are pretty weird. Some are great, some are bizarre. $15.00 maid service? Take a ticket for paper products for breakfast? I am trying to decide whether to cancel and eat the $25.00 penalty. Our rates are $74/nt avg. I would appreciate any input on the rooms, pool, etc.
