Churros & Apples???

I have read numerous posts that mention getting churros while at the parks. DS, DD & I churros and always get atleast one when at WDW. (Atleast one EACH - Not to share. Not good sharers. Especially when it comes to churros.) Anyplace specific within the DLR parks that is better than others to get the churros or just anyplace that has them?

Another of my WDW favs are the apples dipped in caramel, then in chocolate and then rolled in crushed Butterfinger bar. Are these available in DL or DCA? Will the candy store slice them for you like they do on Main Street in WDW? (Much more attractive eating slices than trying to eat a huge apple on a stick!)

A couple of non-DLR questions while I have your attention:

DD15 is wanting a California sweatshirt jacket to compliment the New York City jacket she bought when we went a few years ago. Are there "cheesy" souvenier shops around town in S. California like there are in NYC?

Last question - We are going to be taking a tour of the Dodgers stadium while there. When looking at the map AAA provided to us, it appears the stadium is near LA's Chinatown. Can the same type of not quite designer handbag items available for purchase in NYC's Chinatown be purchased in LA's Chinatown?

Where are you staying? Right across the street from the park are some souv stores with cheaper DL/LA type items. DH forgot to pack t-shirts one year and one of those cheesy stores had buy 5 for $10 or something like that. She he wore those for our trip.

hollywood blvd has a bunch of souvenir shops, in the hollywood and highland area. you'll definitely be able to buy a jacket and some cheesy souvenirs around that area. since you're there, might as well check out the walk of stars, the chinese theater, el capitan and all the other stuff. if its a clear day, go to the 3rd floor skyway of hollywood and highland. you have a really good view of the hollywood sign.

but if you don't want to go all the way there, quick silver in down town disney has a hoodie that says "OC" not really LA but its the next county over. i do believe that downtown disney also has some souvenir shops, just not as much stuff and not as cheesy as the hollywood ones.

Belle, the name of your store was blocked....can you repost it?

Get your caramel apples at Pooh Corner in Critter Country, they have the BEST apples there and they will cut them all except the hunny pot. The hunny pot apple has hunny down the middle (caramel I think, I've never had one) so it's too messy to cut. Our absolute fave is the apple pie caramel apple YUM!!!!!! I've loved EVERY churro I've ever had at DL, they are my favorite snack! I don't like to share but I do, DD9 won't eat a whole one and DD12 doesn't like them so DD9 and I share. Sometimes DBF shares with me too so I get a little more.

We always get our churros by the Haunted Mansion, they are delicious enjoyed by the water!

We get the apples in Pooh Corner but have seen them in DTD too.

The hotels on Harbor all seem to have the cheesey gift shops with shirts and jackets, cheap price but quality does suffer but hey they're cheap!

I can't help with Chinatown, sorry.

yes they have many different caramel apples at winnie the pooh corner, along with other yummy things.

It's not a problem with a clothing brand, but it's a transportation name that isn't allowed to be named. I think it's a frequent driver thing with a rental car company, or a limo company or something...shady business practices I believe, therefore, no mention allowed. But not a problem with the clothes, or mercury, or or last malamute's name (named that b/c we lived in old mercury mining country)...LOL
