Just finished another great Disney cruise on the Fantasy, have to pass this along. Hidden away in the Navigator is mention of a non-denominational worship service Sunday morning on Deck 14 midship. Awesome 45 minutes, led by a couple of cast members. That only about 15 people were there was a little disconcerting on such a large ship, but again, if you weren't looking for it you would never know. 10-12 years ago Sunday services made the front page on the Navigator, but as Disney moves away from traditional family values one must try a little harder, I guess

We went to the "Interdenominational" service on Fantasy Feb. 7, 2016. I wonder if the same cast member led your service

We went to the "Interdenominational" service on Fantasy Feb. 6, 2016. I wonder if the same cast member led your service- a petite Asian girl. I think she may have played the daughter in the first night's show. There were even less people in our service. I would have liked song sheets for the music she had for us as we had never heard the song and I am a song leader in our church. I missed being able to sing during a service. But I commend her for sharing her faith.

I went to two services on our B2B. The CM leading the service was a gentleman (he was on the kitchen staff, can't remember for sure his specific job). Had the same person both weeks, but he said he was getting off after our second cruise, so someone else would be leading the service (if there was anyone interested). The services are very dependent on whether there's someone who will lead them. He had a power point presentation with the song words for us to follow.

Another note, finding that location can be a challenge, as only one elevator goes up that far.

Maybe when they were on the front page of the navigator, they still weren't well attended so they got removed to make space for more popular activities? I think some families decide their week on the cruise is important enough to not feel required to attend a church service.
I'm curious as to what traditional family values you feel disney are moving away from?
