Anyone else have a little one in love with the Chuggington trains? My two and a half year old grandson has recently discovered them. It all began a few months ago, when I put the Disney channel on for him early one morning and Chuggington came on. He is absolutely enthralled with the show and the toy trains.
I've bought him some of the die-cast Chuggington trains and he loves them. I like the fact that they're quite a bit less expensive than the Thomas trains.
They also seem very well made (so are the Thomas trains). He has a Chuggington DVD that he would leave on all day on a continous loop if we let him.
It is a cute show, though, filled with colorful trains and other characters. I actually find the episodes more appealing than the Thomas stories. They seem more childlike and playful.
That theme song, though, can really get stuck in one's head!
"Chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga, chuggington..." Our grandson knows the whole song and likes to sing it...a lot...
Anyone have any of the other Chuggington toys? Any of the larger, interactive trains, or any of the track or playsets? I'm curious if they're as well-made as the smaller, die cast trains.
