My ydd wants a chuckee cheese birthday. Is there a way to make it cheaper? Can you use coupons? I see on the site it is a specific price per guest --can you do this differently? THanks for any ideas!

We did a birthday party thru CEC in Oct. and we were allowed to use coupons. However, you don't HAVE to do it thru them. You can go in, claim some tables and do it on your own.

i've had a party there and what i did was book the standard party (least amount of tokes)- i went a few different times b4 the party and bought extra tokens w/coupons - in addition to the tokens the kids receive w/the party pkg i put small ziplock bags together w/extra tokens.

We are having our dd 3rd birthday at cec, u can use coupons, how many are going to be there? if you go on sunday you get 100 extra tokens. if you set up your party on line you get 20 extra tokens. the time limit at the birthday tables is 90 min. and it goes super fast- they kick you out of the table area after 90 min.
if you have a small amout of people i would use the regular tables- but no one sings you happy bithday- but u can stay there as long as u like.

we have 30 or so adults and children- we r using the birthday area- 11.99 package buying extra pizza and pop for the adults with coupons will cost us around 300.00 or so

hope this helps we should open a different place 4 children to have their bithday the money cec makes wow

I just got 6 tables and used coupons for all the food. For $70 I got three hundred tokens (3 X 10 for $10 coupon) and two of the large pizza, 4 drinks, 40 token coupons (just feeding the kids). It was the best $70 I could have spent!

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I have a question. My children are grown but I've been invited to a CEC party for my niece. I am assuming that I just show up with a gift, and purchase my own food and drink? Is this correct? And, in the spirit of this thread -- I can use CEC coupons? :lmao:

If you are invited to a party and bring a gift, I'd expect food to be included.

I agree, unless you are having a big crowd, or doing it at prime business time, not booking a party is SO much cheaper.

We did DD's party by just showing up, using coupons for food, drink, and tokens. I bought each kid a balloon, brought our own goodie bags and even brought our own cupcakes. They sell birthday cakes now though, so you can even buy a cake without booking a party. They sell little CEC goodie bags at the prize counter too.

I think the price of the party is crazy.

At our CEC, Chuck comes out every day, and they will play the birthday song if you request it. We usually have playgroup there once a month.

I've been to parties where they have food just for the kids. When we did our party we also got "adult" pizzas. Some adults that came to ours wanted salad and/or beer, so they bought their own stuff if they didn't want what we had. I would come prepared to buy your own (with coupons :rotfl:), but see what's going on first. :thumbsup2

We did a CEC party last December for my DSD's 8th birthday. Because we invited all 12 girls (!) on her soccer team, we chose not to book an "official" party. Rather, we simply showed up and claimed a few tables. I was able to use my coupons that way with no problems. If you sign up for the CEC club, they'll send you some really good coupons via email.

As for going to a CEC party, we provided all food, drinks, tokens, and b-day cake for the girls who were invited. Parents who brought siblings paid for their own food/tokens.

At our party today, the server happily used our 4 coupons for pizza, drinks and tokens. It was a good deal since many of our guests were adults.
