Christmas ?

We are going to Disney in July and I have to admit that I have become obsessed with Disney (imagine that) So....now I have been thinking it would really be neat to go Christmas (26-30) but DH says we should at least wait to talk about that until we get back from the July vacation (someone has to be sensible ) Anyhow....What are the chances that the whole place won't be booked if I do convince him ? Just curious

It is traditionally the busiest time of year. You can't plan on doing it all or commando style because you will be there about a million (lol) of your closest friends! That being said, it is a gorgeous and magical expereince at Christmas, which is why we are going back this year. You are right things book up reallllllly fast at the holidays because it is so busy. Polar opposites.

Christmas is THE most crowded time. Neat would not be a word I would use to describe the time. Crowded beyond belief would be more like it. We will never go again during that time no matter how "magical" it is. I would recommend going the days before Christmas if at all possible. If not, then go to just enjoy the resort and the parks at opening time because for the majority of the day the parks are nuts. That is if you can get into the park you want. Some of the parks close to guests due to reaching capacity early in the day.

We almost always go during the summer because my husband teaches. I hate the heat. I would rather go in the summer than the days of December 25 to first few days of January.
