when does Disney switch fro Halloween to Christmas? Someone told me if you stay till the end of the NSSHP on November first they shut off the Halloween lights and turn on Christmas ???

1. It will be ready for Christmas about 5-7 days following Halloween.

2. Well, no.
But, once they begin the process, they do remove the Halloween decor virtually overnight, then it will take another couple of evenings to change to Christmas.

The Disney Parks Blog post linked here, shows that they do much of the transformation over night if needed. Some of the displays may not be up and some of the other smaller location specific stuff, but they do work fast.

Though the part about the lights is mostly true. The cranes have already been around putting up the icicle lights on the castle.
