I was just wondering if anyone knows how soon after Christmas that DL takes down the Christmas decorations. I am having trouble planning around my university studies and DD's graduation into high school coupled with spending Christmas at home with our family. It is so hard to find the right time.

Another question, when is Haunted Mansion etc closed to take down the holiday overlay?

The Christmas decorations should stay up until Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011. Based on previous years, they will start to take down the decorations on Monday, Jan. 3.

HM was closed on the following dates to remove the HMH overlay:

Jan. 5 to Feb. 13, 2009 (included a refurb)
Jan. 7 - 24, 2008
Jan. 8 - 18, 2007
Jan. 18 to March 9, 2006 (included a refurb)
Jan. 4 - 23, 2005
Jan. 5 - 16, 2004
Jan. 6 - 23, 2003
