we are going at christmas and we are NOT doing mvmcp. how bad is this? i just can't justify the cost of it......

We went last year and went there about 6 I think, but by 11 we left cause we really couldn't walk anymore because we were so tired. That was about our 4th day in or so. I wasn't too concerned about leaving early because we still had about a week left at that point.

If I went for a trip longer than 10 days I wouldn't buy these again. If I was going for a week or less, I would invest the money again.

Last year we didn't do the party either. I can't justify spending that about of money to watch parades and a special fireworks show. I'd rather use that money for something else.

I've heard people say the same thing and they have been to the party before.

I guess I wasn't much help.

I agree with the PP.

If you're doing a long stay, then honestly you're going to have plenty of time in the parks. Sure, you'll miss out on the free hot choc and cookies, some Mr Bubbles "snow" and the parade/fireworks.

The first time around we loved the event, but as Duncan got older, we found he would not nap and was exhausted and asleep before the special fireworks. So, we just ended up heading back to the resort. Yep, wasted money in the DH's opinion.

For us, this year it will be money better spent elsewhere (say Mickey Gummies, seriously Duncan is addicted).
