Hi,
My DH and I are on our way for the FIRST time to Disney during the holidays! We are travelling 12/4-12/10 and are looking to dine at the most decorated restaurants. Can anyone please recommend favorites that are all decked out for Christmas? Thanks so much for your help!

I asked this same question several months ago, and Liberty Tree Tavern was mentioned, so I'm eating there (looks like we'll be there at the same time, for a couple days).

Do the characters at LTT or Crystal Palace wear any holiday attire (Santa hats, etc.) on evenings that have MVMCP?

Thanks-how about in any of the countries in Epcot??

I can't remember the inside of any of the Epcot restaurants being all decked out with Christmas decorations. However, the entire WS in general is very festive that time of year. You can't help but get swept up in the joys of the season. :santa:

We like to book the CP package at Chefs de France. It's become a tradition for us, & is just a personal preference. If you haven't already, you should try to book the CP package at one of the Epcot restaurants. It's definitely not to be missed.

Thanks-yup booked Chefs De France and Liberty Tree Tavern! Just looking for more....maybe DTD? I don't know how decked out they get.

I like Le Cellier, the dark restaurant reminds me of the holidays for some reason. Mama Melrose too with all the Xmas lights but the food is blech.

We ate at Le Cellier, Mama Melrose, Le Chefs, Coral Reef, Tony's Town Square, Artist Point, and Mexico. All were decorated for Christmas. In addition, all the deluxe resorts are decorated to the nines and the GF and WL are definite must sees. Have a great holiday.:santa:

I love the Xmas touches to the Hoop de doo show. Decorations are very festive.

I actually hate to post this here- for fear that our reservations may become harder to get- but here goes anyway!

I know it sounds like an odd choice at first, but one of our all time favorite Christmas-y restaurants is the Biergarten in Germany! The restaurant has a nice ambiance anytime of year in my opinion, but especially so during the holiday season with dim lighting, a beautifully decorated tree in front of the stage, lots of green garland and Christmas lights draped all around.

But the BEST part is the special Christmas performance!!! It's wonderful, and really puts us "in the mood" with Christmas songs, stories about the origins of Christmas traditions, a special performance on old-fashioned hand bells, young children dancing and little gold coin Christmas treats for the children! It's our traditional first night meal every December!

OH! And just in case you're worried about "that type of food".....we have an extended family that runs the gamut from "adventurous voyour eaters" to the "ultra picky- I only eat X,Y,Z" types and then the "meat and potatoes only" type eaters and amazingly this restaurant does a good job of pleasing ALL our palates! Many of the items that "sound weird" AREN'T in actuality.

Wow, I didn't know that! We've never eat at Biergarten, because of the shared seating. That does sound like a lot of fun at Christmas. The other WS restaurants we've eaten at over the holidays have had a few decorations, but not enough to really change the atmosphere. Now I'm wondering what else we've been missing.

Can anyone recommend any restaurants at MGM that are decorated? Thanks to everyone who's been responding-these are great, great suggestions!

Mama Melrose has white Christmas lights up that lend it a Christmasy feel year round, but the food is love it or hate it.
