Tuesday December 25th.
Woke up late like about 9 am. Overcast day so put on my long pants didnt get out of room until 11. Went to Disney Quest went right in there and immediately rode Pirates of the Caribbean. Very cool ride one person is the captain of the ship and the other people fire the cannons and try to sink the other ships for gold. After you finish your game it gives you a rating and a score. We got a score of 2974 gold and got the ranking of Conquering Captains. After that we rode Jungle Cruise which is a OK ride but you dont feel like you have much control over where you are going. Also I got my buns pounded on it. After that we rode Buzz Lighter Astro-Blaster, which is a ride kind of like bumper cars. We had a chance to blast the children to smithereens. But the kids actually spun us out of control. You have a partner one person is the driver and one person is the gunner. You get in the car wait for the game to start and the driver moves over the balls and the gunner shoots the balls at the targets on the side of the other cars. If the ball hits the target the other car spins out of control for ten seconds. Its fun even if its a bit hard to control. Next I went to the animation academy where we learned from the instructor how to draw Mickey on touch screens. My picture came out OK but Crystals was the best of the group so she got hers printed out. $4.25 for a packet with her name on a certificate and some fun facts about Disney animation as well as a step by step demonstration thing for how to draw Mickeys head. Headed up to the café so I could get my Internet fix. Went back to resort to do laundry kids went back into Disney Quest. Washing machines are two bucks and dryers are two dollars for 30 minutes. Brought soap in cubes from home. We put clothes in large laundry bags. Went and made changed charge account for rooms to American Express got two lanyards and pins that say the white glove treatment thing. Cool now we can trade those off for cast member pins. Took a long nap before going back to pick up kids. Plan was to go get Crystal at 8:00 and go to Pleasure Island. We were over an hour late so Crystal took the bus back to the hotel. Went back to the hotel had cheese steak sandwich around seven dollars. Terry and Ryan had full pizza for $17.00 dollars. Spent 52.50$ today.
