Christmas Wishes? Tips on where to see it!

We will be heading to the kingdom November 10, with two people who have never been to the US before and we are crossing Disney off of their bucket list! Super exciting except this day MK closes at 7 with No wishes or nighttime entertainment Real bummer, but hoping for a less crowded day. My question is, I heard we can see wishes at 9:30 at the contemporary, we are not staying here, so we wont have a room. What location and how do we get to the location without being guests.

Go up to the bar at the California grill on the top of the Contemporary- have a drink and an app, and go outside to the catwalk to watch the show- they pipe the music up there and it is very magical....
