Christmas week non-park activities

We will be at Disney for Christmas week, staying at AKL. This will be our 9th time at Disney, and our second time during December. We've been to the parks each time and did the MVMCP and Candlelight Processional 2 years ago when we visited in early December. Also at that time we visited most of the resorts to see the holiday decorations. We may go to a park just one day this trip, but plan to avoid the park crowds and just enjoy our time at the resort. Are there any Christmas activities at the resorts during this week? For those of you who aren't spending all your times at the parks this week, what will you be doing? Our daughter is 13 so she's not into all the characters anymore, and is really not very thrilled to be going to Disney over Christmas (like I am!). Any suggestions?

Call over to Fort Wilderness. I believe they are having sesions to make gingerbread houses! I know they are doing this for groups. But am not sure for individuals or small groups. So, you may wan to call there and inquire.
