Hello Everyone :thumbsup2. I've been looking on some of the outside photographer websites, looking for pictures of how a Christmas wedding looks at Walt Disney World. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate any pictures...only ones of brides with christmas colors. I am not having a Christmas wedding, however we are doing our vow renewal ceremony in early December 2008 at Sea Breeze Point. This will be my first time at Disney World during the time they are decorated for the holidays. I am looking to read on your experience of Disney during the holiday times and of any pics of a holiday time wedding or scenery of what the locations may look like. Feel free to PM me, if that is more convenient. I thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide:)

We are getting married this year on 12/14. We are not having a Christmas themed wedding, but will certainly be taking advantage of the Disney decorations for our photos. Our colors are blue and silver... which is what we decorate our house with, but not necessarily traditional Christmas colors. I can't help you yet, but I will definitely have picture-filled TR posted in early January!

I'm also getting married at WDW in early December 2008! How cool! :thumbsup2 Anyway, I have no pictures, but my uncle went last year during Christmas time and said it's absolutely AMAZING! He said there is so much to do and everything is themed so nice for the holidays! We aren't having a Christmas themed wedding either, but I'm almost thinking I should go with red just because it seems good for that time of year. *sigh* So many decisions! Anyway, you could try searching for pictures on Google images or just the internet in general. I'm sure if you typed in "Disneyworld Christmas" or something a load of stuff would come up to help you out. if I come accross any pictures, I'll let you know!

HolyCow....Congratulations! From your enthusiasm and description, Disney souns wonderfully decorated for the holidays. I am so looking forward to it. I bet you are too! Congratulations! So many decisions :yay: :santa:

We are planning wedding during Christmas week and were wondering the same thing. While checking out video services, I saw STVS had a video taken at SBP and started by showing the BW lobby and its decorations. It looked great!

We are getting married on 12/18 this year and hopefully our photographer will take advantage of all the Christmas decorations. Its my favourite time of year and I hope it will make our pics look extra special. Our colours are amethyst/lilac/lavender and the groom and best man are in kilts. I just can't wait for it to happen. There will be a trip report some time in January from me as well.

I'm considering a Christmas time wedding. To me, Christmas is really the most magical time at Disney. All the decorations really put it over the top. It's gorgeous wherever you go!! My only concern is whether or not people can travel during that time.

I'm also consideration a Christmas time wedding. January 2, 2009 to be exact. Since the MoH and BM (assuming DBF will pick him) are both teachers I need to have something so that they don't miss school.

We are getting married December 27th at SBP at noon. Christmas and Disney are both very magical, so with that being said a beautiful place and time of year you can't go wrong. We were going to have a Christmas Eve wedding but I was not fond of the Yacht Club and that was the only venue left for that day. I really wanted more of a view. We are getting photos taken at the GF, so I want to make sure to get the Xmas Tree and Gingerbread House. The castle will also be decorated with lights so that should make some beautiful MK photos.:santa:

We chose early December to make it easier for guests to travel not so close to the holidays. Since disney is decorated around that time, I can't wait :santa: . Thanks for sharing.

We had our wedidng on December 5th last year and loved all the christmas decorations! We had some in our reception location at the boardwalk - you should be able to see them in my TR - link in my signature.

I am also planning a Christmas wedding, in 2008 or 2009.
Does anybody know here if it is possible to marry on the 24th or 25th od December ?:confused3

We are Christmas time regulars at Disney (usually the week after Thanksgiving) Several years ago we saw a bride at the Boardwalk taking picture on the second floor balacony just surrounded by poisiettas, IT WAS INCREDIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST.... I WAS SAD THAT I WAS ALREADY MARRIED WITH TWO KIDS BECAUSE I WANTED TO BE IN HERE PLACE...... Who new 6 years later we would be planning our only daughters wedding in Disney, she has chosen February, which is also a great cool time of year but Christmastime there is just the best time... :santa:

We were married on December 21 of last year, and had a Christmas wedding. Our flowers were red, our cake was covered with snow flakes. It was really beautiful.

The walkway to the WP was planted with poinsettias, we had pictures taken with the Gingerbread house and the Christmas tree at the GF. It was truly beautiful.

I do have some pictures, but haven't received the CD yet. So, I will post those that were taken by a friend.
