Hi everyone,
I am not an owner
I have had some great experiences renting.
Christmas week is the ONLY time I can travel on weekdays. This makes it tough for me to get a good deal renting DVC points.
My husband and I LOVE vacationing at The Boardwalk. For us, there is nowhere better!
We are on a waitlist for a studio for 4 or 5 nights (I can't remember!) during Christmas week. I realize that I am not so good at waiting! It makes me
!!!
I have made reservations elsewhere, which can be canceled just a few days before the vacation. I don't want to make a deal with any other timeshare owners (Vistana etc..) because I would want to cancel if The Boardwalk comes through, and that wouldn't be right.
There really isn't much anyone can help me with. Maybe just a few opinions, do you think I should keep waiting or give up and finalize some reservations elsewhere? I could get a much better deal through an owner than through a resort, IF I can resign myself to staying off-site.
This is rather long and I apologize. I am rather compulsive about planning, I wish I would just get over it!
Any opinions about what I should do?
Thank you,
Mary Ann
