Christmas w/ Joe and Rick

I am researching and prepping for my second tatt. Sadly, I had to spend my tattoo fund for Xmas gifts, so I'll have to save back up for it. But that also gives me some time to look for an artist to draw out my vision.

Yeah. They can be very, very expensive! But I'm of the mind that because this is something that will be a part of you for the rest of your life, not only do you have to be certain it's something you'll always love, but it has to be done by someone with really high artistic standards and quality, not to mention loads of experience. And with standards, quality and experience comes major bucks.

The guy I am using right now for this tattoo works in a studio that charges $200 an hour. So far, it's taken three hours, with three more to go. :scared1: And that doesn't include the tip. Yeesh.

But I love it so far and have wanted to do this for years and years. I didn't go with the "standards, quality and experience" mindset when I got my first tattoo 12 years ago, hence my dislike of what I had over time. And that's why I am now spending a ton getting the cover up done.

It feels good to "fix" a mistake, doesn't it? :goodvibes

I got my one 'n only tat almost 16 years ago, I went to the most 'famous' artist in Dallas 'n I don't regret it. I highly recommend Tigger for the folks in Dallas. :thumbsup2

So when do we get to see the tatt?

After it's all finished. I go back on 12/30 to get the color put in, then it's all done!:thumbsup2
