I will be in Florida this December (21st-Jan3rd). :cool1: After looking at the website I see that they have a Macy's parade and a chance to meet the Grinch. We were not planning to visit Universal until after Christmas (Dec 27 or so) will these events still be running and if so where can I find more info.

I would also like to know about the New Year's celebration. The website says that is a seperate ticket which includes meal and enrtertainment. How do you know who will be there and where do you get the tickets?:confused3

TIA

Last year, I think it was Cindy Lauper who rang in the New Year. That information won't be available for some time yet. They are still in the middle of Mardi Gras performances.

Your best bet is just to keep looking at the website. You have a while to go yet before you'll find much, though.

Last year the info came out right after Halloween Horror Nights ended. The dates and events are the same, but the lineup changes. The Macy's Day parade usually happens until New Years day.

I'm pretty sure the Macy's parade ran (US) through New Year's Eve. We were looking to go, but our power passes had blackout dates so we went later in the week.

The Grinch is always there (IOA) in Suessville, it's not a holiday thing, as are other Suess characters.
