Our July 4th week trip is planned and now we are already planning our next trip at Christmas (12/26 thru at least 12/31) What are we thinking? :rotfl: I am a special education teacher's assistant, so I can't just go anytime of the year. We are still at the "just thinking about it" stage of the the trip right now, but I know the ADR time is coming up next month! This all came up when we started talking about getting annual passes yesterday when we go in less than 45 days, so of course we needed to figure out when we would be going back. I figured that if we go and is too overwhelming for us (and my son with some special needs), we can say we tried it and not go back at that time again. I have spent Easter break about 12 years ago there, and this will be our first July 4th at WDW. I just really want to see the lights! I got the special PIN code for free dining dates through beginning of December, but none of the dates worked out. I know that Christmas is the busiest time of the year, so I need some tips. So, this is what I know.. Go to rope drop and don't leave, unless we are done for the day (we normally sleep late, go back to the resort midday, and then return for EMH). There will be 3 of us, my CM cousin's family, and now my sister says she may want to go. So, total of 12 if everyone all goes. What are the best ADR's to get during this time? Can annual pass holders get dining plan? I know they can buy the Table in Wonderland card. Does the value resort do a lot of decorations at Christmas? Any tips would be great!

How long are the decorations up after Christmas and do they still have the Christmas parade? Any advice for New Year's Eve if we stay that long?
