Christmas Tree Trail - Must see?

I'm finalizing my plans for our December trip.... we planned to dinner one evening in Disney Springs but I'm debating switching it to lunch. Is the Christmas Tree Trail a must see at night ? For that matter is it a must see at all? I think I'd prefer to spend my evening at HS. Any thoughts?

It's okay ... IF you have some time planned at Disney Springs. Not worth it JUST for that.

1) It's about as far away from the bus loop as you can get it. It's a long walk there and back.
2) It can get crowded and hard to really take in the trees.
3) Disney Springs is just way more crowded at night in general.

That being said .. it was very pretty and Christmas-like (despite the heat) to walk through it at night. But we were there already for dinner.

I would not rearrange your schedule just to see it at night. It's cute, but not worth a trek just for it. It gets super crowded in the evenings, too, and makes it really hard to see the trees. Especially with the amount of people wanting to take pictures in front of each.

If it's between seeing the trees or seeing the holiday stuff at HS, I would choose HS 100x over.

I actually enjoy it more in the daytime without the crowds. Yes, it's beautiful at night, but you can take your time and admire the decorations during the day.

I think I'd prefer to spend my evening at HS.

I'd go with that.

It’s easier to take in the details on the trees during the day, so if you happen to be at that end of DS I would recommend you take a look. It can take as little as 15 minutes if you just stroll through without lingering. But it does add a lot of holiday spirit to DS.

We will be doing it but we are going to DS for dinner and the Void anyway.

Definitely can be enjoyed either day or night. Probably slightly different experiences but not in any way that I'd say you need to rearrange a schedule for (particular if your other choice is DHS at night which to me is a must see this year - it's no Osborne Lights but still really enjoyable).

It was a nice stroll after lunch. It wasn't crowded and we took our time looking at the trees. The Haunted Mansion was my daughters favorite!
