Christmas Tree Swap?

I know it is kind of early but will there be a Christmas tree swap for 2009?

I don't know if there will be or not, as I've never participated in a swap.

But I do want to post a reminder, before one starts up that ALL swaps on the DIS must now be totally free, and can not require (or request) participants to pay a fee or partial cost of the item(s).

No money involved. Several people donated trees to be passed around while people stayed in the DVC resorts then when the holidays are over the trees are returned to the owner.

People have donated to the cost of shipping trees in the past. This has been done by enclosing an envelope with the tree and people giving what they want. Will that not be allowed?

wdwstar usually starts the thread for the Sharing the Magic Tree in July. I believe this will be the 6th year!

Unfortunately, I don't think so, but I'll ask a webmaster on a board that has more swaps than we see on the DVC Boards.
