I love the Christmas Tree Shop! I frequent the one in Attleboro, MA and there is one here in RI. (Attleboro is better) CTS is an amazing store to find great bargains and the neatest gifts. When my mom visits from CA that is her first destination-she can't get enough of this store.

Every time we go up to the Cape we go to one in Eastham. I usually manage to fill every available space in the car with stuff .

I have one five minutes down the road from me in CT. I like the ones on the Cape much better though!!

I have two within a 40 mile radius to me. I love going there and spending lots of time rummaging through the stuff.

Great rugs and chairs!

However, I buy mostly kitchenware, Christmas Ornies and Christmas bags and decorations.

I did buy a berry wreath a few weeks ago for $4.99 and they are now in catalogs and other stores for $19.99 through $39.99!

Don't you just love a bargain!

I live about 20 minutes from the Orange CT Christmas Tree Shop, so I go there maybe once a month or so. It is usually pretty crowded, and the older I get, the crankier I get about crowds, so I have to carefully plan my visits. I never go on the weekend.

I've got two within 15 minutes north or south. I've definitely noticed an increase in prices and a decrease in the stuff from other stores at big discounts. I never see things like my dishes that were originally from Pottery Barn or my Tabletops Unlimited Deruta cannister set anymore.

The best deals are on New Years' Day. They take 10% (maybe 20% I can't remember) off everything as a pre-inventory clearance, plus all the Christmas stuff is 75% off by then. It's amazing how much stuff I've bought for under 25 cents.

I have at least 3 within a 30 minute ride. I love them because they are good for small gifts for girft baskets or for little toys for my daughter. I also use them as my main "cape cod" shopping spot whenever I do an exchange because I can get my "made in Massachusetts/Cape Cod" goodies... I can get salt water taffy, different kinds of candy and treats as well as a ton of cute disney things... I bought my DD a princess set with plate, bowl and cup there for $2.99. they also have a ton of disney coloring books and other little goodies to be used as tinkerbell gifts!

Yummy bakery is Julia's. Gift shop is Cape Cod Crafters.

Do you like the new store in Somerville? I still like the Lynnfield one better for some reason.

We're from Oklahoma, so I've never seen a Christmas Tree Shop. I asked DH who travels to the Syracuse area if he's seen the one there, and he says it's near his hotel. So, if he goes for me, what do I tell him to look for? They don't have a flyer online right now.

I'd be interested in Christmas gifts or ornaments or stocking stuffers. We do a Silly Santa gift exchange that's mainly inexpensive or funny gifts, so that might be a possibility. I like to do Christmas crafts with DD. Would there be regional items that might be fun? Anything my DD15 or DS19 might like or is it mostly household items? I scrapbook, so do they carry much that I'd be interested in? I could have him call me for the final say, but unless I tell him to look for something he won't. He's not a great shopper, but he will go for me if I ask.

Any chance of you making the trip w/ him? There a lots of things for holiday exchanges and tons of Christmas ornaments and decorations. Maybe you could make a little trip w/ him? Bet you would have a ball there.

I wish. No, we have a DD15 and I have to be around to act as taxi. So it's not in the cards for this year. Besides, he's up there right now and coming home this weekend. Then he goes back for two more weeks - and my mom is having foot surgery while he's gone that trip. I do have hopes that while he's doing this frequent training in the area I might make it up there one of these days. Just not now.
