I thought you could get one delivered from the Disney Florist but I don't see it on their website. Does anyone have any ideas??

We are going to stop at Walmart or Target when we reach Disney and buy a table top tree and some trimmings. I have seen them under 20 dollars so if we decide to leave it behind it's no big deal.

You have to call the disney florist directly, I believe.

They have two sizes, and they run around $300 for a 3 foot tree if I can remember correctly.

I bought a tree and decorated it with ornaments from AKL and Animal Kingdom because it was thrilling for me to purchase the ornaments on my own. It was also a heck of a lot cheaper!

Toys 'r us has a really cute Disney princess tree that includes ornaments and all boxed together for 20.00. Last year they had the fab 5. but this year they only have princess. It is small and could fit in a bag for travel. If anyone has seen this set in the fab 5, please post so I can pick one up.

The Jackson Perkins plant catalog company mails fully decorated little live christmas trees. They are really cute and come boxed in a shipper box. You could order one and take it with you.:earsboy:

We bought a Toy Story Christmas tree on 75% off clearance this year at TDS. We plan on taking it for our room. We will be at WDW from 12/14 through 12/21. I just can't imagine not having a little tree to watch sparkle in the evenings during the holidays. It's cheap and cute. Mickey

$300 for a Christmas tree :earseek:

Just bought my 6ft. tree from Target last night for $16.99,(it was $19.99 last year) it comes in a slender box with a handle and we just check it with our luggage. I always just take the ornaments off, leave the tree there, and use the box to pack up all the stuff we accumulate.

If you have your heart set on the Disney Florist tree do a search, there was a long thread about it not too long ago.:D

We had planned on purchasing a tree through Disney Florist, but since they wouldn't provide me with a photo of the trees (they are over $200), I didn't want to buy one sight unseen at that price. However, I am sure it is beautiful. We are now secretly beginning to stock our own Disney tree to bring down. I have a 4 foot tree with lights from Home Depot ($40) and two sets of Disney character lights from Menards ($20). We are also going to buy a Disney ornament book (has little Disney story books as ornaments) (appr. $12) and I plan on using my hot glue gun to glue standard metallic ball ornaments from Target ($20) together to form Mickey shaped ornaments. I think our Disney tree will be great for our children and not come close to the cost of their tree.

On that 4 ft. tree from Home Depot-How did you get it down-Did you put it in your luggage or carry it with you? I like the idea of buying ornaments at Disney World and decorating the tree with them.

I thought that I read another post on this subject that mentioned two pts. 1. the tree from the Disney florist is not real and it had some kind of optic lighting. 2. You may not be able to have a live tree in the rrom due to fire codes. I would call the resort, not CRO and ask.

I am having a tree sent down for our trip as a surprise. I'll try to set it up while every one is out of the room or pay someone to do it then during the day come up with a great idea of buying pins and decorations to decorate our tree at home. This way we can have a tree trimming party while we are at WDW.

jdads2. that sounds great! My kids love decorating 2 trees and our collection of ornaments for our Disney tree is GROWING they have the best ornaments down there! One year they had a discount tent of holiday things in front of AK, we bought WAY too much LOL!

We actually haven't done this yet; we will be doing it this Christmas. We are planning on putting the Christmas decoration stuff in a hard sided golf club bag. Our back of plan is to simply check the box as one of pieces of luggage (hopeful that can be done) or shipping it down beforehand.
