Christmas time the beginning of January

It states that all Christmas activities go through Jan 8th. Is there anyone out there that can verify this info. I plan to head out the first week in January just to experience these and want to make sure before I do my trip. TIA

I haven't seen that info, but a few years ago I was at DL on Jan. 2 or 3 and Christmas decs were still up. As far as other events, I don't recall. My interest was in seeing the park decorated, and experiencing IASW decorated as well.

The dates for the Christmas celebration are listed on the Disneyland website HERE and say they run until January 8th so all the decorations will be up until at least the 8th. HTH

YEA- I'm excited..... it will be a quick trip ( flying out Thursday morning and coming back Sat afternoon). It will also be my first solo trip. Want to make sure to experience the holidays there, was a Disneyworld last Christmas and will be there again in 2017 so, want to make sure to squeeze this in ( havent been to DL for Christmas in around 7 years)

The majority of Christmas will be up thru the 8th. Santa does leave the park after the 24th. (He has a lot to do!)

I'm also considering a short solo trip the first week of january (3-6) to see the decorations and the new holiday World of Color. The website says that the season last there until the 8th so you should be good to go.
