There was a time at DLR that early entry meant Toontown Morning Madness vouchers. At this time early entry is REALLY early entry. You enter DLP one hour before the general public. If you purchase your tix online from the Disneyland.com website, you get to take advantage of early entry. . .trust me, it is a great way to go. . .

EE has been that way for as long as I can remember. My first DL trip was about 15 years ago and EE was getting into Fantasyland and some of Tomorrowland early. The TTMM was a later addition, TT opens an hour later than the park so if you have TTMM vouchers you can enter TT at the same time the park open to the public instead of waiting.

To clairfy, EE and TTMM are 2 different features/perks of DL. I'm glad you enjoyed your EE!!

I remember going about 15 years ago, when it was called "Magic Morning" and included getting into the park an hour before opening, as well as free breakfast (counter service), and characters would come out so that you had a better opportunity to visit with them. (The concept of the character meal at that point was limited to Goofy's Kitchen.) You had to buy a special package to get this privilege, and my recollection is that the crowds were much smaller than they are now (of course, I think crowds overall were much smaller back then).

Yes!!! Magic Morning!! I'm pretty sure that's what it was called the first time I did it too.....I don't remember it well but it was my first ever trip to DL and I was 21! LOL I do remember eating breakfast with the characters and we took a ton of pictures......of course I don't have them any more but I do remember that!! Wow, thanks for the refresher! LOL

Actually this is not entirely true. Here is how to take advantage of EE and TTMM

EE-1) Buy ANY 3 or more day park hopper ticket. There are some exceptions such as Gay Day tickets or convention tickets (I think), but 95% of 3+ day park hoppers come with 1 EE.

2) Stay onsite. Regardless of ticket type, if you stay onsite, you are eligible for EE every day of your stay that it is offered. This is how AP holders can use EE.

TTMM- You must buy a package (offsite or onsite, either one works).
