Hello all,
we are visiting Disneyland in November from the 7th through the 11th? We are hoping that there will be Christmas theming at that time. Anyone have any experience with this time frame??

Thanks SO much!!

You need to look at the Disneyland at Christmas Superthread

The Christmas season this year officially begins on Nov 14. There will be some decorations starting to go up while you're there, but none of the Christmas "events" will be happening -- snow on Main Street, IASWH, etc.

IASW will be down for the Holiday makeover.

(Paging Sherry E. - I found the Superthread on page 3. Yikes :scared1: It needs a bump!)

Quite a bit of the Christmas decor is usually up during that time because that's when they do the filiming for ABC's Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, but things like the tree and garland over Main St. are not because they intrude with the sets/floats/balloons used in the taping.

Also, as GrandBob noted you won't be able to catch the actual parade, holiday fireworks or any of the other normal holiday events. The tree will not be up, nor will they be doing the castle lighting. That said, if you just want to see the park with some of the holiday decorations up, you will defiinitely get to do that. :3dglasses
