Like I said when mine arrived, I had to give it to Josh and have him hide it. I have no idea where it is. He knows the date that I'm allowed to open it so I'll get in then.

You could have your parents hide it until the opening date?

We're hopefully getting our tree tonight so I'll put it under there. The 12th is a Saturday right? I might be home but if not I'll pick it up when I come home next week and keep it at my dorm. I'm trying to get my roommates to chip in for a little tree to keep in our apt.

I got my package today!! It arrived Wednesday, but I went and picked it up at the front office today. It's from Laurie!!

My Mom hasn't received hers yet.

Usually I insure or at least get delivery confirmation....and for some reason I didn't do that this time....so very, VERY relieved you received it!! Now it will sit there & temp you until the 12th.....lol

By the way....it's safe to open....everything is wrapped!

Haven't recieved my package yet but waiting eagerly! I have my christmas decos up (except the tree) and now I need some presents! (I suppose I could always wrap all the gifts I have for other people and put them out...hmmm.) I have to say I am nervous about my dd 17 months getting into the presents before christmas so they might not come out until then. Maybe I will wrap some empty boxes to put out, then if she opens them it's no big deal because there won't be anything inside!

I just tracked the package I sent and according to the info online it was delivered yesterday although my recipient has yet to post its arrival.

So far nothing has arrived here, although mail has not been delivered yet today.

I can't believe Beth is making us wait two more whole weeks. I am totally impatient, so I guess that the longer it takes to arrive, the shorter the amount of time I will have to wait to open it!

Oh Theresa...I was remembering our first exchange and how I just tossed a bunch of random stuff in a box and wrote a little note on a recyled scrap of paper. After I mailed it off, the various packages started arriving. Festively wrapped, lovely cards, themes....etc. I think it was Jen who wrote a little story for Beth...and then someone else wrote a poem. I was definitly feeling like I sucked.

I felt that Debra who got my first package would be a bit like Charlie Brown in the Halloween special. All the kids are exultant at each house, "I got a chocolate bar!!" or "I got a taffy!!", and poor Charlie Brown would open his bag and in the most sorrowful of tones state, "I gotta rock".

So, since that exchange, I have tried be a bit more clever...but seriously, no one will ever get a poem, unless I one day get your name in an exchange!!!!
I am kind of crafty...but the best I could do likely is a limerick. Maybe a Haiku if given enough time.

I am pretty sure that Beth keeps a list of who has received their packages. That way she will know who to PM about getting their packages out. In case and elf is needed or something has happened.

And you can eat one and ponder the rest of the contents. Seriously, go for it, so you can enjoy the pretty stocking. Happy Holidays!

Oh, and I think you gals are thinking of Mukelshoot, which is where the Casino is. No idea where that is though. Just not here in Mukilteo. But...not to far away is the Tulalip Casino and Outlet Mall and that is plenty of fun!

I would be up for this! I love that outlet mall, they have a great Carters! He He He....the downfall of having a little girl is the drain on my budget for clothes she totally doesn't need!
