Christmas Shopping

Is there anyone else besides me that hasn't started yet?

I haven't had time or money. It just dawned on me Christmas is a week away. OH MY!!!

either that or he has a REALLY good hiding place that i haven't found yet. hehehe

Our Christmas was originally supposed to be this Sunday but DD has nagged me incessantly and we're now having it this Saturday.

So, yeah, I'm done!

My son-in-law hasn't, but that's par for him.. And I know for a fact that my brother hasn't either - he ALWAYS does it on Christmas Eve day.. I've been behind schedule a time or two, but Christmas Eve day is really pushing it!!

I still have a little bit of a check list to do. Grrr. I hate to think of those weekend store crowds.

I plan on doing mine next Friday (12-23). I hate shopping! I like giving gifts, just not shopping.

I did most of my mom's Christmas shopping for her yesterday (she can't leave the house); does that count?

I did get DH's gift -- ordered it online. I haven't bought one thing for the kids yet, nor have I bought anything for the family gift exchange. We're quickly running out of time and we just got hit with a financial pickle (have to travel for a funeral).

I got a couple things for Dh when extra tall sizes went on sale. Other than that no. We are waiting on a large check the company owes Dh and it STILL hasn't come.

I am done but two of my coworkers went to the mall today to shop during lunch. The kicker...they are exchanging the gifts tomorrow!

Add my dad to the list of Christmas Eve shoppers. Why is it always men, who every year, start their shopping on Christmas Eve?

I still have a few things I want to get but I came back from Disney with an ugly cold and a bum knee. I have not left the house in over a week so the shopping has been on hold. Hobbling, sneezing, sniffling, and snuffling has put a damper on my Christmas spirit. Bah, humbug.

I have a few items left to snag and will probably venture to the mall this weekend. However, about 95% of my Christmas shopping was done online this year. Next year, I am aiming for 100% online. It was sooo much easier.
