Christmas Reservation Hope?

Hello all!

I have a quick question. My wife and I decided that we might go to WDW this Christmas for a week as we are teachers, and are off until Jan. 9 this year. However, we decided this way too late!

Is there any hope that at the 45 day mark, you will be able to get a reservation at a value or moderate? Right now about the only thing available is AKL deluxe and we cannot afford that. We would love to take our mother-in-law for her first time!

I'd like to hear your opinions on this!

Thanks!
MM

Try the Dolphin or Swan they offer a Teachers discount. You may get a value or moderate but I would not count on it at this late date. You may also get one of the DTD hotels.

And check out hotelkingdom.com for Cypresspointe Grand Villas. Their 1 br is larger than Disney DVCs. You would lose free parking ($10 per day) and EMH. Another option is the FW campground if you're campers and have an electric heater for the tent. Don't give up. Keep on calling, people cancel all the time. Oh and what about Priceline or the DTD hotels. Check out the rates on Mousesavers.com and learn about priceline at www.biddingfortravel.com (Sheryl is a real stickler on her FAQ). DH is in his 35 year of HS teaching and we have had to travel WDW many times at peak season.
:tink: for you!

I just made a reservation (on 10/21) through Travelocity for All-Star Sports from 12/22-24 for $63.49 a night. I thought that was pretty decent especially given the time of year!

Good luck to you and hope you enjoy your holiday trip!
