Christmas projectors

We can't have them around here because they get stolen. My parents had theirs stolen while we were sitting right in the living room facing the front yard. I noticed I didn't see the lights, went outside and it was gone. :sad2:

That happened to our neighbors last year. Everybody on our street has beefy security systems so nobody really bothers with us anymore lol

I looked into them last Christmas because I’d like to get one that projects falling snowflakes but I couldn’t find any that did that. I found still image snowflakes and falling dots, but no falling snowflake images. Does anyone know of a projector that will display falling snowflakes?

Just personal opinion, but I'm a huge Christmas decoration junky...what we do inside and outside our house is insane by most standards except Clark W Griswold. Not a fan of those projectors, unless you spend serious money for a professional grade one (which is a whole different animal than what Wal-Mart sells). Skip it. Use different types of lights, or more lights, if you want to spruce things up. There are some in window projectors I've seen which are pretty neat, I haven't gotten one of those yet. They display a scene on your window, looking as if something were going on inside the room (Santa is there, a ghost is there for Halloween, etc...).
Okay, I just looked up these window projectors and now I’m obsessed. I want to get a Halloween one at some point. I know you’re into all this stuff; do you happen to know off the top of your head which is considered a good brand?

Three years ago the local news ran multiple stories on this. People all over the are were having their stolen.

Don't know what an Epiphany is, but it all starts coming down around Dec 28th or 29th, it takes a while....
The Epiphany Jan 6, is the day the 3 wise men met Jesus, the days from Christmas to the Epiphany is known as the 12 days of Christmas.

Back to the OP - I'm not a fan of the projection lights either. I bought 2 of the nice ones, put them out on my lawn, and took them down the next day, Personally, tom e, it looked silly having lights across the windows and doors. I did keep them, in the summer I put one at the base of my 100 year+ Oak tree and the other one, I put in the living room at Christmas pointed toward the ceiling.
