Christmas Present Exchange Sent/Recieved-COMPLETED

Dear Nutsy;

I got your gift and guess what, you are in Australia! My friend Peter is in Australia and he is very handsome. You would like him.

Thank you for my postcards and thank you for writting on them! Now I know what a postcard is, my Mom tried to tell me but I thought they needed an envelope. Mom says they don't need a box either.

I really like the pinchers. I have one from New Zealand, of a kiwi. Mom says New Zealand is different but Christmas is the same. My friend Andrew lives in New Zealand. He taught me to say hello but he says noone really talks that way, it is just for visitors.

I am taking my puppet to show and tell. I hit the jackpot.

I have to go to bed now. Thank you for the boomerang. Mom says it is a with parent toy because I might hit someone. Is it hard to learn? n Can you use a boomerang?

Mom said she would type this on the computer for you.

Joelle

Oh ya, thank you for the stamps too, they are cool.

Mom says I also need to say thank you for everything else. I got lots of things. Thank you.

Wow, so glad it arrived Joelle and hope you had fun opening it all. Boomerangs are not hard to use, but you do need a lot of room and lots of practice.:teeth: I used to be able to throw a boomerang when I was young, I was taught by an aboriginal, but that is a long time ago and now I've forgotten what I was taught:)

New Zealand is not too far from Australia........3 hours in a plane across the Pacific Ocean. You should practice saying G'day, you might find that your friend Andrew uses that instead of hello:goodvibes

What are pinchers btw? Don't recall sending any pinchers your way, whatever they are:confused:

Nutsy -

Joelle is calling the animals you pinch on the sides to clip them onto your backpack (or whatever) pinchers. You sent her about 5 I believe. I can confirm.

Thanks again. I think for her the most thrilling for her was to hear you were from Australia. She has a super huge crush on Peter, "the most handsome man ever". She has decided we will go there on vacation ASAP!!!

Ok I get it now:sunny: We call them clippies or clip ons. :)

I was hoping my person got her gift, but she hasnt reported. Maybe she will get hers today. I know its in California already, according to the postoffice website.
Its really a shame when exchanges dont go out by the send by date. Of course emergencies do come up, we are all human. But, she gave us extra time on this exchange. I guess I just never understand that if you dont have an emergency, why people are always late on sending their exchanges. This is the reason I only did the exchange for myself and not my kids. My kids have waited weeks for some of their exchanges, and I never thought it was fair.
I hope everybody gets into the Christmas spirit with this exchange. I know I sure did shopping for my person. It was so much fun looking and buying Christmas gifts in October. How fun :cool1:

Hi Jackie0824

tin filled with chocolate kisses---who can't use chocolate
memo pad shaped like an ornament
