Christmas Party for Cast Member Dates- when Disneyland closes early

Does anyone know when the cast member Christmas parties are this year? I know they are normally the first Monday and Tuesday in December- and Disneyland then closes at 6:00. But the hours are up for Monday, December 6, and Disneyland is open until 9:00. So it must not be on Monday this year.

Wondering if anyone knows when they will be?

It looks, from the park hours now posted, that the Cast Party will be on the 13th and 14th - which is a Monday and Tuesday. The park closes at 6 on those days.

So when is the CP going to be? Arent the cast member parties usually right after the CP?

I don't know how "official" this is, but I just called about our reservations (which are Dec. 11-15), and asked the CM if she knew about CP dates. I was on hold for FOREVER but she came back, and said she spoke with manager and was told dates for CP were still going to be the first weekend in Dec. (4th and 5th). I'm hoping that's the case...I didn't want to fight the crowds that Sunday we are there!

Good. I hope the CM was correct and they are the 4th and 5th! As I don't want it to be there on the 11th when I am there either.

I'm guessing the 13th and 14th since those are the two days when the park is closing at 6:00, according to the online calendar today. Works for us, since we leave to come home on the 13th!

Besides, isn't the candlelight processional the first weekend of December? No idea why they'd close early on those nights!

Yes to fireworks ~ it's great having them so early and yes to low crowds *at least the last 2 years.
