Christmas Parade Taping

Can someone fill me in on this?
Our plans are set, ADR's and FP+ made. We will be at MVMCP on the 10th and 13th and in MK on the day of the 13th as well.
How will this effect us?
Is it taped during the day or during the party?
Is there anything cool about it or does it just draw massive crowds?

Performed during the morning and early afternoon hours typically. Crowds will be large in Main Street and the Hub, otherwise business as usual in MK.
