Christmas Parade taping

This may be a bit early to ask, but does anyone have an idea what day they tape the parade? Is it during MVMCP?

It's usually the first weekend in December. Starting on Friday and going through Sun. They may tape special shows throughout the parks as well during that time.

Thanks for the quick response. We are planning for Dec 10-18/06. I hope the parks are not too crowded. Can anyone give me some info on attending MVMCP?

Don't stop at the first location to get your photo made especially if the line is long. There are usually several locations so find one near the back of the park and you shouldn't have to wait too long.

Don't forget your hot chocolate and cookies.

And ... most important....don't catch the snowflakes on your tongue.

That is so cute!! I live in Alberta so we get the real stuff here!
What kind of pictures to they take? Character/ special Holiday backgrounds?

The background is usually the MVMCP background with the title at the bottom. We don't have any characters in ours and we have a few of them.

We were there early Dec. (4-10th) 2003 and the parade was taped during our trip. The only problem we ran into was basically on Main Street. Once we got past MS, the crowds were the normal Dec. weekend crowds (IMHO).

What was really cool about going in 2003 was that was the year the Travel Channel did WDW Holidays with Samantha Brown and I taped it and can relive being there that year.
