christmas parade taping question 2006

if its the same as in the past. the christmas parade taping will be going on while were are there. 11-29 thru 12-4. we plan not going to mk on sat or sun. will the odds be that we will miss that? if not how does it affect crowd levels. does it die down in the afternoon after all the parade taping is done? we do not wish to be in the taping of the parade. (would rather be park touring)

It should be the same. They will rope off main st. Being on a Saturday and/or Sunday, MK will be busy. Just remember after the parades and taping dies down, where would you go if you were there...I would go in the park. I would avoid MK all together....But once again...you could be riding the rides while people are at Main St. Use the reverse strategy...
