Christmas parade taping Nov. 4 & 5

Hello Everyone,
I must start by saying THANK YOU! I have been a member forever and check the boards almost daily but never really post. I don't know why, I'm not shy by nature. I have learned an incredible amount of valuable information from these boards over the years and I'm so grateful so Thank you very much!!!

I noticed on dancethemagic.com that they are filming the parade this weekend in November. I was really, really hoping to make a trip out there during that time and now this has completely deflated my excitement. I know weekends are generally busy but will this make it unbearable? I'd love to hear from those with experience what to expect.

Very interesting... they are really going to be busy turning Main Street from Halloween to Christmas in 4 days!

Unfortunately, I can't speak to experience about being there over the weekend of the parade taping, but I think (from info I have gathered in the past) is that the parade taping itself is kind of boring to most. It clogs up Main Street mostly, but I don't think the rest of the park is going to be that busy- especially since it is the weekend after Halloween and before Veteran's Day and the beginning of the official Christmas season.

Thanks for your reply jernysgirl. Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the quick turn around. I searched some posts from last year and I think you're right the rest of the park might not be so bad but it really looked like a pain to get around.

I've been pacing trying to decide what to do so I'd love to hear some more feedback. I guess it also depends on who is performing and how big of a draw they will be.
