Does anyone know if Disney provides any sort of accomodations for people with disabilities who are participating in the Christmas parade taping? I need information on how they would accomodate any kind of disability, whether it's providing special seating or anything else you can think of.

Thank you.

Not that I am aware of. Once you get in they will tell you were to stand/sit. They fill areas based on where they need people. Last year they were having people park strollers and not letting them past a certain point.

Getting in is VERY crowded. We were held under the train station for 30-40 minutes last year. In a major crowd of pushing and shoving. Then they told everyone not to run.:rotfl2: We started two rows back, by the time we got to the start of Mainstreet atleast 20 -25 people had run and pushed ahead.

Thank you. I'm guessing they don't have any special seating set aside for people in wheelchairs? From seeing it on TV, it looks super crowded.

Is the MK park very crowded during the taping day, or are the crowds just on Main Street? Thanks!:)

"Most" of the crowds are on MainStreet. Sometimes people get tired of waiting around on MainStreet and will go into the other areas of the park so I would say crowds would be higher than normal on taping days.

There is no special w/c seating or accommodations made on the day of taping. It's very crowded and not fun. They start/stop the parade and performances to get everything right for the tape. I've been at the MK several times during the taping over a few years and always avoid being on Main Street.---Kathy

I don’t know about accessibility, but from what people who were there other years posted, certain areas were very busy - almost impassible and other areas were fairly empty. They posted that the staff has people stand where the camera needs to ‘see’ them the same way that livndisney described.
I know last year when I watched the parade, you could see in some shots there were lots of people and in other spots they were only a couple deep.
