Christmas Parade Question

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm really confused and can't figure this one out from what I've read here. Planning on a Christmas trip this year. But, I have never seen the SDCT Parade--it's just too hot and we're afternoon-break-at- the-pool folks. I was really looking forward to it this nice COOL, low-crowd December trip. Is the 3pm MK parade the same (SDCT) OR does it change during the holidays OR is the holiday parade only during MVMCP?

If you are there in early December, while the MVMCP nights are still going on, you will see the SADCT parade. Once the MVMCP nights end, they start showing the MVMCP Christmas Parade during the day at MK.

Thanx, tjmouse! So, let me make sure I have this straight. We are there 12/2-9 and going to MVMCP 12/5. So, I will get to see the regular SDCT parade on 12/4 and then the special holiday parade at MVMCP. Love parades, so if that's true I'm

The SDCT parade runs every afternoon at 3:00. If you are going to MVMCP then you will see the Christmas parade. It runs 2 times during each MVMCP.
I believe they start running the Christmas prade during the day around Dec. 23.

Be aware that historically they have filmed the christmas parade the first weekend in December, so if they do that again there will be no SADCT parade on Saturday and possibly not Sunday either. They film the christmas parade in small increments, and repeat each float/dance/performance at least 3 times in a row, and it takes ALL day (and sometimes 2 days) starting at 8am. At the end of filming on Saturday they may/have run the christmas parade all the way through though, and you might catch it then as well. (late afternoon/early eve)

That doesn't sound like it will conflict with your plans, but just wanted to give you a heads up.
