Christmas Parade and Fireworks January?

We just booked another trip for the first week in January (Wed-Sun) as a do-over trip and wanted to find out if the Christmas parade and Fireworks are usually going on during the weekday or just weekends? I've tried looking through the DIS but the old superthreads end before the end of December and I couldn't find it on the rest of the internet. Any info greatly appreciated!

I booked a parade package for January 9th, so the parade must be happening at least until then. I'm not sure about the fireworks.
