Hi everyone We are already thinking of our next holiday in 2007 and as we went in september (jusr come back sob!) we wanted to try going at a different time!

Do you think christmas is better then halloween? We want nice weather would we get this with christmas?

The weather over Christmas should still be fine, but it's not so predictably warm - they can be prone to 'cold snaps' where the weather drops into the 60's. It could be absolutely beautiful and really warm though - it's just not such a sure thing as, say October, where the weather is (generally!) settled and still in the 80's.

You are most likely to notice the difference early morning / evening when it will probably be a lot colder in December / January than October.

If the weather isn't a huge part of your holiday, I would choose Christmas, but that's just because it is more of a 'special' time of year than Halloween, and you should still be able to walk around in shorts and t shirt with just a hoodie or something in the evenings.

Judging by your other thread you want a bargain, you won't really get one at either of these times but you'd probably do best to book as far ahead as poss!

Hi we went at Halloween in 2003 and loved it! Weather was fantastic, crowds small and the price reasonable! We went to MNSSHP at Magic Kingdom but must admit to finding it all a bit over hyped and less than good value!
October is a good time, we loved it so much we're off again...on Saturday!!

We've really only ever been in October apart from one trip this year in April. I love the whole halloween thing in the US, they do it so much better than we do :)

The weather has always been great at that time of year and you get the added bonus of being able to experience the Food and Wine festival at EPCOT :teeth:

Having not been in december I couldn't comment on it first hand but I have been put off by some peoples reports of the weather being chilly at that time of year :( as mentioned by kristieuk above.

I would go for Halloween having been at that time myself. You will get much warmer weather and the crowds should be low. December can be chilly, when I arrived in early December last year the pilot announced the temperature, I thought he said 30 degrees....it was 13 degrees, the same temperature as we had left Manchester. It did pick up though.

I always quite fancied the idea of Christmas but having spoken to people who have done it the talk of the huge crowds has really put me off. A girl I used to work with is a Disney nut and went last year and vowed never to go again at that time.

If you don't have to take school hols early December is great, Christmas decorations are up and crowds are again really low. You normally get some great bargains then as well. :earsboy:
