Christmas Merchandise Questions: Snowy the snow car

So I went to DL for the Christmas time last year. I really wanted a Snowy the snow car fleece blanket (sold in Carsland exclusively). However, when I was there it was unusually cold and all the blankets were sold out.

Is there any possible way I can get one this year? I know DL doesn't have a shop DL parks app...if I called and asked would they ship one to me? Do they even have these blankets this year?

I love Snowy and I was able to get his ornament but not the blanket. Does anyone know of anything I could do?

If they have them in stock, then you can try calling Merchandise Mail Order (800-362-4533) and they can ship most items to you (just note that shipping can be pretty pricey). If you can tell them where the item is normally sold (e.g., Radiator Springs Curios) and about how much it is, that will usually help them find the item more quickly.

The Shop Parks does carry a very limited selection of items that are Disneyland Resort specific. For most any item that is available in both parks, with either "Walt Disney World" or "Disneyland" printed on the bottom (e.g., the Holiday shirts), it's almost always the WDW version. I do wish they would extend the app to include more DLR specific items, but so far, that doesn't seem like it's happening.
