Hello,
We will be at D-Land over Xmas. I know that Disney has started upping prices for meals durnig peak times. Does anyone know when this will be announced? Historically, how much has the increase been?

If there's a big increase, our family will likely go off site for our Christmas day meals.

Thanks
Julia

I think peak season menu price adjustments are common at WDW, spotty at DLR. Because it makes sense from a profit viewpoint it should be happening. But it won't be announced it will be reported when someone witnesses it.

They tend to be incremental increases of 10-20%. DLR also started off peak dining offers for vacation periods and we may see this in DLR again.

The only changes in pricing generally are for Goofy's. The dinner pricing can be $5 more for adults and $2 for kids. But it is the same price as summer. Most of the rest of the prices remain the same.

We have also noticed different pricing for the Minnie & Friends character meal during peak vs. non-peak times and I think the Storyteller's character meal too.

Looking back at some spreadsheets I keep, the Character Meals all participate in the Peak/Offpeak pricing. The difference in pricing is generally about $5 for adults and $2-3 for kids.

I'm not sure if they raise prices, but when we were there last year at Christmas they also had coupons for dining at off peak which we used quite a bit. We used those at Pacific Wharf, and there were some other ones as well. We like eating at off peak hours to avoid the crowds so we're hoping they do that again this year.
