where do you recommend eating for christmas eve dinner and christmas day breakfast?

Bumping this back to the top again :thumbsup2
We are considering a Christmas trip as well so I would love to hear what everyone says :santa:. Especially with crowd levels- I am having a hard time thinking about where to be on those two days.

Where are you both staying? It would be better to avoid the parks on those days and find a resort to eat at. There may be some great places right where you're staying! :)

ditto--we are planning at POFQ and have never been during Christmas. Interested in thoughts here!
Thanks!!

We were at DW in '08 for Christmas and we ate at LTT on Christmas Day. It was the perfect meal. Turkey, mashed potatoes, ham and steak with mac & cheese.

We like to go for the day on Christmas and usually go with what's available out of our list of favorites. I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but you might be interested in one of the Candlelight Processional packages in Epcot. You can expect all the parks and resorts to be crowded, but Epcot handles crowds better than the smaller parks. Reservations are still a good idea. We have been able to get seated without them in the past, but there's no guarantee.

May not even go until 2012 over Christmas...but we would probably stay off site to better accommodate our family size. And more room to open Santa presents :goodvibes

Good idea about Epcot..lots of great dinner places there.

Another idea might be to go to see the gingerbread house at Grand Floridian and eat breakfast or dinner there at one of their restaurants. I've never been there but it is a dream hotel for me.

we are staying at windsor hills and have no intentions of doing parks on the 24th or 25th. we went 2 years ago and ate at cape may for christmas eve dinner and found out during dinner that my father in law hates seafood! (oops!) but the walk on the beach after dinner was wonderful. my kids had the best time. and for christmas morning we ate at 1900 park faire with the characters. we had a lovely time but felt kinda rushed....

looking for anything that doesnt involve parks and seafood (oops!)...

oh yeah and there will be 2 seniors, 3 adults, 2 teens, and 4 kids under 8!

Epcot isn't bad as long as you go in knowing it will be crowded and don't care about rides. We go just to avoid typical Christmas stuff and just hang out watching the tourists feeding the Central Florida economy.
