Hi all,

Phew, it's been a while - work has been keeping me exhuasted!

Now i've got some downtime at work, my thoughts turn to Florida... and Christmas!

We've booked 27th November to 12th December 2008, so will be able to take advantage of all the Christmas fun without the crowds!

We know about all the stuff to do on Disney property at the parks etc, but we're looking for more to do off-property. We're already planning a jaunt one night round the residential streets of Celebration for a Christmas With The Kranks - esque view of america! As we're arriving thanksgiving week, we're putting a busy-park saturday to good use by going into downtown Orlando for their annual xmas parade. Beyond that, we're stumped....

Any thoughts?....

:santa:

All the theme parks have something Chrismassy going on at that time. Grinchmas at IoA makes for good photo ops.
DTD has the real Santa there for photo ops, too - if you visit him, you'll see what I mean!;)
Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede has a different show at Christmas-time.
The ICE displays at the Gaylord Palms were on our list of things to do, but alas we didn't have time to go!:guilty:
The opportunity to wear shorts/t's/swim outdoors in December is always unusual, too for us!:lmao:
