Christmas! Hours and help.. :D

Hi there..

I've tried to search, but couldn't find an answer... Maybe i'm just bad looking?

Well... anyways! My mom, grandma and I are spending two days at DL and DCA. We will be there december 24 and 25. We are considering visiting 22 instead of dec. 25 - would that be better thinking about crowds?


Does any of you know the (usual) hours these days? I've heard that DL will close at 8 Christmas eve and DCA at 6. But what about parades, WOC, Fantasmic etc.? And what time will they open? Will it be best to go to DL spend some time, go to DCA when they open and then back to DL? I'm just afraid that they will close the park for entry??

The hours aren't posted but speaking from experience, I'd opt for Dec 22 instead of Dec 25. Christmas Day is packed. Like sardine packed. Just thinking about the bottle neck area by Indy is enough to not make me shiver. That being said, if it was the only day I could go, you bet I'd be there.

Take a look on the first page of the Christmas Superthread. You will find the hours of last year. DL closes earlier on Christmas Eve at 9pm but the rest of the nights DL should bro en until midnight.

I know it's kind of an old thread now - but I just thought it was stupid to make a new thread!!

In this thread, the Christmas and all other places it says, that DL and DCA closes early on Christmas eve - but not just on the Disneyland homepage
http://disneyland.disney.go.com/calendar/#/default/2011/12/24 - it says the normal opening hours! I'm just courius I want to see both WOC, Firework and Fantasmic! And only have december 23+24 - and I need to book the picnic meal for WOC (Before tomorrow, because it's a gift )

The guess is that it has longer hours because it's a Saturday and they are expecting high crowds.

My plans are totally confused now! But it's GREAT with longer hours
Then the special goodnight will be at 12?

Do you think it will be possible to leave the park at 3 and come back at 6/7-ish?

What i would do is go to disneyland.com and check the hours for the days you are planning on visiting
